I went to the beach and celebrated my birthday it was a rainbow party all my family came I am in third grade now.
Second Grade
I had a lot of fun this year. Some of the things that I very much enjoyed were the Great Person Project (I was Jane Goodall), readying Wayside School stories, Eerie Elementary, and my Ecosystem Project (I was a Dhole). I liked going on field trips, my favorite one was Community. What was your favorite field trip?
Learning about Ecosystems
I am really excited to learn about ecosystems. Picking out an animal to study is really fun. I am deciding between an armadillo or a kangaroo. I am interested in armadillos because they look really cool and have protection how they can roll into a ball. Kangaroos carry their babies in their own little pouch. Which animal will you pick to learn more about?
My Spring Break
For my spring break I went to Las Vegas to stay with my grandparents. We went to a model of the Eiffel Tower and we went to New York New York to have pizza and my big sister Ella rode the roller coaster. I went to the Venetian, which is a model of Italy, and ate gelato and rode on a gondola. I went to a magic show, and was called up on stage to do a magic trick with Murray the magician. I saw a Cirque Du Soleil show called Mystere, and saw a show called Recycled Percussion. I saw a lizard at my grandparents house. When we were coming home, our flight was cancelled because of a dust storm so we stayed an extra day. We came home just in time for my sister’s birthday party.
My Weekend
This was an exciting weekend. I got to watch a movie and eat popcorn. We walked to a cupcake store and I got to pick out a hot cocoa cupcake. I got to go on a lot of walks and even walk on a train track. I also went to a Japanese restaurant.
